From the suburbs to the sequoias, Joshua tree filled Mojave desert, and the Kern river in between, that was the best 12 hour road trip. Around 500 miles and the temperature averaging 100, we saw just about everything we wanted to, and were treated to the most beautiful sunset. Several different landscapes, none similar to what we have in Hawaii, my mind was barely keeping up with all the serenity and heat.
