My name is Brendan Monahan and I'm a photographer based on the island of Oahu, Hawai'i. I was heavily influenced by the surf and skate communities and their subcultures. Hawai’i is such an unique place, where change is visibly constant, and I've realized the power photography has in telling the stories and history of these islands and the people we encounter. I love connecting with people and learning about them, their home or travels through these stories.
